Does God Control the Earth?

There’s a viral clip, using Psalm 115 as a reference point, essentially stating two things:

1. God doesn’t control the earth – we (humans) do
2. God only has heavenly jurisdiction.

Here’s my response to those claims:

the power to influence or direct people’s behaviour or the course of events.

– I said “time to time” (at least) twice, I meant to say we can see definitive moments of divine intervention and that the Holy Spirit regenerates our hearts constantly
– None of what I’ve said voids human involvement in life.
